Shipping & Returns

Most of our products are now shipped out with Boox,
100% recycled & re-useable boxes. 

Boox assembles in seconds without packaging tape, eliminating yet another piece of single-use trash,

When they’re ready to be returned, they fold flat with a magic origami-like design. Inside every boox is a QR code that will guide the Boox return process.


Each box can be reused about a dozen times.  Once returned, they’re quarantined for a week then cleaned using organic soap and water before being redeployed for more deliveries. Once the box is done for good, the company works with a manufacturer that can break down the corrugated polypropylene into plastic flakes and be turned into more boxes more efficiently than cardboard recycling.

    For anything purchased from our site that is currently in stock, we will process and ship your order within 1-3 business days of purchase.

We ship with USPS
Under normal circumstances you will receive your item within a week of purchase. 



   For custom items we try to maintain a lead time of no longer than 4-5 weeks, however we also try to make your items in the best way possible with the most quality control we can. This means that sometimes there are time frame delays, and extended wait times for customs, however this is because we strive to create excellent quality handmade goods and don’t rush our process. 
If you have purchased a custom order and have not received a shipping notification please be patient and know that we are doing everything we can to get your order to you in as timely a manner as possible, we will let you know when it is ready to ship with an email notification and tracking number.


Return Policy :


   Returns are generally welcome and accepted, with a few conditions.  We do not offer returns on custom orders, we made it for you and therefore it would be unfair to expect us to take back a specialized item.  General purchases can be returned within a week of receipt as long as the items are in new condition.  Boots specifically cannot show wear, have been worn outside or arrive dirty/ discolored on the inside. We are fair and hope you will be fair with us. Return postage is not included

Exchanges Policy: 


   Our exchange policy is very similar to our return policy.  Customs are not exchangeable, but all other items are as long as they return to us in their original condition within one week of receipt of the item.  Return postage is not included   


International orders:  


    For orders shipping outside of the US, currently is a flat rate of $29. We do offer the same return and exchange policy.  


 El Gato Montes will accept a return or exchange on the online purchase of an in-stock item or made-to-order boots within one week of the date received. The product must be in new condition. 

El Gato Montes does not cover any return shipping cost. 


El Gato Montes is not responsible for any stolen or lost packages. Please ensure your shipping address is correct and track your package for the delivery date. 


El Gato Montes does not accept returns on custom orders.
